Real Estate
Broker
I’m still a licensed broker in Texas. Real estate isn’t just something I used to do—it continues to be part of my work and how I see the world.
Hi, I'm
Texas Real Estate Broker · Investor · Entrepreneur · Speaker
I like building things, backing good ideas, and cheering people on. I’ve learned a lot along the way. A few lessons were more expensive than others.
I’ve been in the real estate game since 2003. I’m a licensed Texas broker who loves spotting potential, investing in projects of my own, and backing people who see possibilities worth pursuing.
A little more about me
Do your homework. Trust your gut. Keep your sense of humor.
In everything I do, I intend to leave people and places better than I found them.
Based in Austin, TexasA little about me
I take what I do seriously. Myself? A little less so.

I’ve worked in real estate since 2003 and started investing in 2008. If you remember 2008, you know that was an interesting time to get into investing.
Real estate is still very much part of my life. I invest in projects of my own and in projects led by others. I enjoy the mix of numbers, problem-solving, people, and possibility.
Along the way, I’ve helped build a business with an incredible team, learned a few lessons about leadership, and spent many years speaking and teaching. Getting to encourage other people to try something new was one of the best parts.
These days, I’m still investing, still learning, and still interested in what’s around the corner. I like to think experience has made me wiser. At the very least, it’s given me better stories.
What I do
A few things I know well, enjoy doing, and haven’t quite finished exploring.
I’m still a licensed broker in Texas. Real estate isn’t just something I used to do—it continues to be part of my work and how I see the world.
Since 2008, I’ve invested in my own real estate projects and those led by others. I love a good opportunity—and a good set of questions.
I’ve spent many years speaking and teaching, including through a business we built together. I’d be delighted to do more of it with the right audience.
Motivational speaking
For many years, speaking and teaching were a regular part of my work. I shared lessons from real estate and entrepreneurship: what worked, what didn’t, and what I wish I’d known sooner.
I especially love conversations about finding confidence, taking a thoughtful risk, and making a change before you feel completely ready. The goal isn’t a perfect pep talk. It’s leaving people feeling a little more capable than when they arrived.
I’m open to invitations from groups looking for honest stories, practical encouragement, and a little laughter along the way.
Have an event in mind? I’d love to hear about it. (No motivational confetti cannon required.)
Let's talk about your eventBeyond the job titles
I love a good adventure, an interesting conversation, and learning something that changes how I see the world. My favorite chapters usually involve good people and a little bit of courage.
I’m proud of what we built together, grateful for the incredible team that made it possible, and genuinely curious about what comes next. I don’t need every answer before I take the next step.
For the record
After seven rewarding years building The Flipstress and FlipSisters alongside an incredible team, I closed that chapter in February 2025 and moved on to what’s next. I’m no longer an owner or operator of either brand, or affiliated with their current businesses or programs.
Some older websites still list me as a current owner or operator. Those listings are out of date. This is my independent personal website.
